I search for you and you hide, in a subtle memory, in the scent that once dwelled in other times, in the wearing away of my hope. I search for you in the silhouettes of the city, in a lost passion, in the opportunities left untaken. I cannot comprehend your logic, nor organize my thoughts. The feeling withered, faded away, and I cannot be sure it ever existed. I keep examining my surroundings, hoping they will tell me about you. Sometimes I try to take the same paths. I want to know your fate, but I do not want you to know mine. I do not want you to find me, but I confess that the idea of letting myself go seduces me. I do not expect to find you, I do not wish to see you, but I imagine you... in my dreams, in my triumphs, in my torments, because you were something valuable to me. © Alejandro Guipe | All Rights Reserved.
