There are grey days when the beauty of the world seems to vanish and the value of what matters to us disappears. On a grey day you find yourself alone despite being in company; you are not present even though you exist. On a grey day the sensationalism of the news crushes you without mercy. On a grey day the world seems to convince you that this is not a good time to be alive and that this will never change. On a grey day we perceive more evil than we can accept. On a grey day everything we perceive is a source of despair and agony. On a grey day time becomes a kind of macabre torture. On a grey day the only thing you perceive is the misery of the world. On a grey day the faces of sadness and hopelessness around you multiply. On a grey day life seems condemned to run on in a succession of misfortunes. On a grey day sadness overcomes joy. On a grey day we feel the world to be a kind of hell. On a grey day motivation, curiosity, and the desire to experience new things die. On a grey day we do not want to wake up. On a grey day we do not wish to be alive. But not every day is grey.
