I have a journey prepared

One that you will not be able to forget.

I do not care whether I go alone or accompanied

Because when things are good

Someone you will always find.

The idea has been prowling through my head

Carefully selecting the places

And, strange as it may seem,

The suitcase that awaits my departure

Has seen nothing but its weight in things diminish

And its contents in dreams increase.

I am one of those who tends to go prepared to any place

A fanatic of just-in-case

Religious about itineraries

Addicted to stopwatches.

I am going to confess to you that

For the first time I do not care about the date

The flight time or the departure of the bus

I do not even see it necessary to have a return ticket

I want to let myself be enamored by the destination

Because deep down I know that one always returns with what truly matters.

Whatever your expectation may be, I am going to exceed it

Forests, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, plains, beaches, and deserts you are going to find.

I do not promise you that I will remain the methodical one of always

I am going to change

And if that is what you expect, I warn you that you may be disappointed

I declare that I have begun to hate time, rules, schedules

Lists, criticism, prices, security.

An irrational repulsion has emerged from me toward everything that seeks to limit

The most glorious moments cannot be counted with banknotes

You do not find them listed on a list, and much less can you fit them into minutes

They do not depend on the place or the company.

They depend on yourself, and you know that well

I have a journey prepared

Do not expect that I am going to invite you

Because when you hear from me

It is most likely that I will already be on my way back.
